Welcome to M for Moderas, a blog that hopes to redefine Chennai’s style scene.
But wait, I don’t even know who you are! Why would I choose your blog to read?
I’m Varsha, a confused Suits loving student hoping to feature in Vogue someday. I have an incurably loud voice, and I’m passionate about speaking and blazers, with hopes of someday walking on a red carpet, becoming famous as a blogger, working in the United Nations and winning Project Runway.
So, what’s this blog going to be about?
This blog is going to be mine. About finding couture and designer lookalikes at high street stores, such as Valentino lookalikes at Forever21 (not kidding about this one, I actually did!). Also my style diary, style in Chennai, street style, and maybe some illustration and photography here and there. I stick my fingers into a lot of desserts, and I’d like to take you along for a ride. I do rant here and there but those are different stories. Here, it’s all about mode (French for fashion) in Chennai. Hence the name, Moderas.
Um, this question-answer thing reminds me of Mindy Kaling’s book, why?
I know, I know, I love Mindy Kaling’s writing style. Besides its a nice idea too, I hope she doesn’t sue me or something, god knows whether this is illegal.
Anything that I have to know?
Just know that I’m used to quick results where the small stuff are concerned, which makes me a very irritating person to text, since I can’t wait a while for a reply. I also have a penchant for going into silences, show all of the typical Capricorn traits (including a need to be the boss), and cannot talk on the phone for long. Or at all.
Happy reading & thanks for stopping by!
